Interior Decor: Black and White Bathrooms

Hi all,

I know it has been such a long time since my last post but it has been such a crazy busy time at school because we had our senior examinations.

I finally had a break and went away with some lovely friends to Mount Maunganui. It was awesome. One of my friends was interested in some black and white decor and that really inspired me. So I thought I would give you all some ideas too.

I noticed to get a really nice crisp look you need a few things to putt everything together however it depends on what the colour scheme of your bathroom is. If you have a pure white bathroom you should aim to decorate with mainly black accessories. If you have a mixed bathroom you can go easy on the black decor (add some beautiful white towels) and decorate using some black accents such as
a black frame or a black bin. I noticed that adding some vintage soap dispensers pull the look together and the other thing you need is some greenery! Adding plants makes the black and white pop but adds this natural subtlety. A lot of the black and white needs to be in the finishings to really get the right look.

Below I've posted some of my favourite looks.

Enjoy,
Sara

Interior Design - Marble and Rose Gold

Hello sunshines,

I've been very much into the contemporary feel in interior design recently. I have completely fallen in love with the marble and rose gold theme, so I went decor shopping in my two week break that I had from school. Below are some of the items that I purchased.

I found so many lovely bits and pieces that I couldn't help but buy. It's the freshness and colour of the greens, the subtleness of the greys, the sharpness of the black, the hint of rose gold and the classic vibe of the marble that keeps it all so minimal and clean. It's also so nordic. The nordic black and whites really fall in well here along with the clean lines and edges that the decor pieces have. I love the look and I hope this inspires you in some way.

Take care,
Sara
